The following report describes and analyzes the first professional teaching experience of two pre-service teachers carried out in the 2nd year of high school, under state management, in the city of Córdoba, Argentina. Faced with the health emergency situation caused by COVID-19, the educational processes were mediated by technologies and therefore the practices were virtual, through synchronous encounters and asynchronous activities. The proposed practices and how they were implemented in this context is detailed. The mathematical content that was developed was colloquial and symbolic language, focusing on the interpretation and equivalence between these two languages. Then, the formative evaluation is analyzed, which made it possible during this time of pandemic to evaluate the learning processes. Finally, some reflections on this unique experience and the challenge assumed with our teaching profession are presented.
