Propiedades de un hilorama clásico
Abstract
A piece of string art is made by connecting nails on two segments with strings which are crossing to each other. The visual effect of them is remarkable and it is used in art, design and arquitecture. In this article, we study several properties of a classic piece of string art, including lengths of certain segments, areas of polygons, secant and tangent curves; being some of these properties surprising, as the triangular array made of the squared lengths of the segments. At the end, we propose some generalizations and make some questions.
