dc.description.abstractThe vocabulary teaching practices of EFL teachers are guided by their beliefs and assumptions about what constitutes sound teaching and learning, and by their knowledge of lexical learning and teaching. This paper deals with teachers? choices regarding their vocabulary teaching practices, focusing on the lexical content and the techniques used in class. Data from class observations and a survey will be used to compare the consistency of the teachers? beliefs with the practices.es
