When journalistic articles are written, it is common to give a central role to the newsworthiness of what is to be published, blurring other characteristics that may be relevant. This makes it problematic to communicate science in the mass media and generates the need to make scientific discourses compatible with those of the media to achieve clear communication and, at the same time, a certain rigorousness about the scientific research dealt with. In this project we propose a theoretical justification for a radio column in which scientific journalism articles are discussed and an opinion is given on both the news and the research in question, taking into account the objectives, procedures, processes, results and analyses of all of these. The challenge we take on is to address controversies that allow us to criticise how certain scientific studies are communicated and also the scientific research itself, adapting the proposal to a radio format.
