This work is framed in the general problem of determining which background data is mapped to physical initial data in manifolds with asymptotically cylindrical and asymptotically flat ends. This type of initial data describes black holes with maximum values of charge and angular momentum per unit mass. The problem is of great interest, not only theoretical, but also numerical, due to its subsequent evolution and study of black hole collisions, emission of gravitational waves, etc.
The main objective of this work is to explore the existence of initial data for the Einstein equations which describe extreme black holes without the requirement that they belong to the positive Yamabe class. Namely considering seed metrics that have a non-positive curvature scalar in some region of the manifold. For this we study the existence of initial trumpet-like data in the maximal CMC case, the non-maximal CMC case and finally, of greater interest to us, in the non-CMC case. The system of constraint equations in this situation is complex because it consists of 4 non-linear coupled equations, with singular asymptotic behavior at one end of the manifold. We pay special attention to the effect of a non-positive scalar of curvature on the existence of solutions. We prove the existence of sub and supersolutions of the constraint equations under different conditions both for the background metric and for the other elements of the initial seed data.
