What is the impact that the different measures taken during the pandemic provoked and continue provoking
on the formats and repertoires of the social and political struggles from the subaltern sectors? This article is part
of this type of concern and, based on the empirical look at the sociopolitical conflict in Córdoba province –
during the first 4 months after the initiation of preventive and compulsory social isolation measures–, we argue
in favor of two theses: 1 ) the socio-political conflict is directed towards a scale that will strain government
administrations until setting at the center of the conflict and on the public agenda the answers about the question
of how much inequality our democracy can endure; and 2) the complaints and claims of a diversity of actors
and organizations show that the current crisis does not occur in terms of absolute passivity of the subordinate
sectors, but neither in terms of a confrontation of political projects of common life.
