Abstract

La Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC) en acuerdo a las premisas de la iniciativa mundial del movimiento de acceso abierto (AA) en la publicación científica, y a su vez dando respuesta a la Ley N° 26.899 de Repositorios Institucionales Digitales de Acceso Abierto, aprueba al finalizar el año 2017 las políticas de acceso abierto a la producción científica de dicha institución. En razón de ello y ante la incertidumbre generada en aquellos profesionales que dedican su trabajo a la investigación y por consecuencia a la socialización y publicación de los resultados de sus estudios, es que el presente trabajo incluye dentro de sus actividades la realización de encuestas a investigadores que integran el Centro de Investigación de la Facultad de Filosofía y Humanidades, de la UNC, y que fueran participantes de la convocatoria de proyecto de investigación de la Secretaría de Ciencia y Tecnología durante el período 2014-2015 y 2016-2017. Con los datos obtenidos se intenta dar cuenta acerca de la percepción de los mismos, respecto a la modalidad de publicación de los resultados y los datos científicos. La encuesta fue diseñada incluyendo 33 preguntas cerradas y abiertas que permitieran cuantificar y concluir acerca del comportamiento de los investigadores respecto a la publicación de sus trabajos. Resultado del análisis, se evidencia una mayoría dentro del grupo encuestado que tiene conocimiento sobre esta práctica de publicación, producto de la difusión implementada por la UNC, y en particular por la Oficina del Conocimiento Abierto, responsable del Repositorio Digital Universitario y el portal de revista de la misma universidad. Y por otra parte se señala el desconocimiento de un alto porcentaje de investigadores sobre la Ley 26.899 y la publicación de datos abiertos.

The National University of Cordoba (NUC) according to the premises of the global initiative of the open access movement (OA) in scientific publication, and at the same time giving answers to the Law N° 26,899 of Open Access Digital Institutional Repositories, approves by the end of 2017 the policies for open access to scientific production of this institution. In view of this and of the uncertainty generated in those professionals who dedicate their work to research and, consequently, to the socialization and publication of the results of their studies, is that the present work includes in its activities the realization of surveys to researchers that integrate the Research Center of the Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities of the NUC, and that they were participants in the call for research projects of the Secretariat of Science and Technology during the period 2014-2015 and 2016-2017. Whit the data obtained it is tried to account of the perception of the same, about the mode of publication of the results and scientific data. The survey was designed to include 33 closed and open questions that would allow us to quantify and conclude about the behavior of researchers concerning the publication of their work. As a result of the analysis, a majority in the surveyed group is aware of this publication practice, a product of the dissemination implemented by the NUC, and in particular by the Office of Open Knowledge, responsible for the University Digital Repository and the journal portal of the same university. On the other hand, it is noted that a high percentage of researchers are unaware of Law 26,899 and the publication of open data.
